Books on Wheels

The library offers a delivery service to homebound East Hartford residents. If you cannot come into the library on your own, we can deliver materials to you. Please call Judy Hillmann, Circulation Librarian for more information, 860-289-6429.

 

Playaway Audiobooks

The library has a new collection of Playaway Audiobooks. The Playaway is a very simple way to listen to an audiobook on the go! Each Playaway comes pre-loaded with an audiobook, earbuds, and battery. All a patron needs to do is plug in the earphones and enjoy!

The Playaway has 3 functions:

• adjusts the speed of the narrator's voice;
• remembers where you stopped;
• works with most headphones, speakers and car adapters.
