Experience personalized career center seamlessly integrated with advanced virtual technology to help job seekers of diverse backgrounds and needs.” This course will introduce you to the wealth of resources available through JobNow to assist you in looking for jobs, interviewing, & developing new skills. This course is useful for job seekers, those looking to create or improve their resumes & develop their interviewing skills, and adult learners who want to brush up on or learn new skills and students looking for live, online help & tutorials for writing and other courses
You will need to have a valid Connecticut library card to take this course. If you do not have one, please stop by your local public library to get one before attending this course.

Ebook Reader Basics is an informal overview of ebook readers, such as the Kindle, Nook, and iPad. This course is useful for those who have little or no experience using ebook readers and want to learn how to set up and use their devices.
Students must already have an ebook reader.

Introduction to Computers is a low-stress tutorial for those who have little or no experience with computers and who would like to learn how to perform basic operations, such as creating & saving files, browsing & search the Internet, and setting up an e-mail account.
Familiarity with using a mouse required. If you need to learn mouse skills, stop in any time and staff will assist you with practice using a mouse.
